Many companies match donations their employees make to nonprofits like KyUMH. That means your gift could go twice as far in supporting children, youth, and families across Kentucky.
Use the matching gift search tool below to see if your employer participates in a matching gift program. If your company offers matching gifts, you’ll be able to access the forms, guidelines, and instructions needed to complete the process.

What are employee matching gift programs?
Employee matching gift programs allow companies to match charitable donations made by their employees to eligible nonprofits. These programs are a meaningful way for companies to support the causes their employees care about while doubling the impact of each gift. When your donation is matched, you help provide even greater support for children and families all across Kentucky.
Are matching gifts tax deductible?
Your personal donations to KyUMH are tax-deductible, not the matched donation made by your employer.
How do I know my gift was successfully matched?
To check the status of your matching gift, review your company’s matching gift guidelines or contact your Human Resources department for additional information.
What if I can't find my employer?
If you do not see your employer, please contact your company's Human
Resources department. Your company might not offer a matching program.
If you are sure that your company offers a matching gift program but they aren't listed in the search tool, email tonya.jones@kyumh.org with a copy of the matching gift form and we'll work to have your company added.
Can I match donations made in the past?
Yes. Many companies allow employees to request matching gifts for donations made within the past year. Be sure to review your employer’s matching gift guidelines to see if your previous donations are eligible.
